Beware of Scammers Pretending to be Social Security – This scam has been hitting Lakeport over the past few days
We are getting numerous reports this week of scammers pretending to be Social Security and trying to get personal information. We believe the current group being targeted is elderly people who are receiving social security. If you get these calls immediately hang up. Do not give out any information.
