#017 Auto Burglary Arrests
At approximately 9:30 a.m., a Fremont Police Sergeant in an unmarked vehicle on-viewed a suspect committing an auto burglary in a parking lot near City Sports on Farwell Dr.  He called in assistance from marked units.  Three suspects, a 35 year old man, a 30 year old woman and a 27 year old man were all arrested.  As officers continued the investigation, the three were later linked to previous crimes in Fremont and were booked for several charges including conspiracy to commit a crime, auto burglary, possession of burglary tools and fraud.  Officer Meredith handled the investigation. 

#029 Auto Burglary
An auto burglary occurred in the parking lot of Whole Foods between the hours of 3:30 – 3:50 p.m.  Loss included 2 backpacks and a clarinet in a black hard case.  Investigated by CSO Wilske.

#034 Auto Burglary
Officers were dispatched to the parking lot of Red Lobster on the report of an auto burglary.  The witness/reporting party followed the suspect vehicle but lost sight of it in the area of Fremont/Stevenson.  The RP described the suspect vehicle as a black 4 door and the suspect as a black male, 6’ tall, wearing dark clothing.  Case investigated by Officer Taylor.

#038 Auto Burglary
An auto burglary occurred in the parking lot of Lucky’s Charter Square (north end) bewteen7:00 p.m. – 7:50 p.m. Investigated by Officer Burch.

#042 Trespassing/Public Intoxication Arrest
Employees at Mod Pizza (Fremont Hub) called to report a transient male causing a disturbance.  Officer T. Latimer and Officer J. Taylor arrive on scene and contacted a 49 year old Transient male.  He is arrested for public intoxication and trespassing.  He is booked into Santa Rita Jail. 

#044 DUI Arrest
At 10:51 p.m., Officer J. Taylor stopped a vehicle for driving in excess of 60 mph, in the area of Mission Bl/Mayhews, where the speed is posted 45 mph.  The 51 year old driver was contacted and arrested for DUI.  He was booked at the Fremont Jail. 

#001 Theft of a Package
At approximately 10:00 p.m. a package was stolen off of a porch on Young Dr.  Case investigated by Ofc T. Latimer.

#002 DUI Arrest
Officer Burch conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Paseo Padre Pkwy and Decoto Rd.  The investigation resulted in the 54 year old male driver being arrested for DUI and eventually being transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.

#003 Auto Burglaries
Earlier in the day at approximately 7:00 p.m.,  two separate vehicles were broken into in the Washington Hospital parking garage.  The parking structure has video surveillance and officers are conducting follow up to the investigation. 

#004 DUI Arrest
At approximately 3:34 a.m., Ofc Gerber conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Paseo Padre Pkwy and Mowry Ave.  This stop resulted in a 23 year old adult male being arrested for DUI and booked at Fremont Jail.

#032 DUI Arrest
At 10:00 p.m., officers were dispatched on a collision detail in the area of Warm Springs / Mission Blvd. The 26 year old male driver was contacted and ultimately placed under arrest for DUI by Officer Dubowy.

#002 Battery
Officers responded to a residence on Reynolds Dr. on an ascertain the problem detail. A frantic caller reported an altercation at the residence, however due to a language barrier it was difficult to understand what was initially occurring.  As officers get closer to the scene, updated information is that a woman was stabbed in the arm by a man. In the end, the stabbing was unfounded.  The woman sustained a minor injury due to being bit on the arm.  The female victim declined prosecution and the heavily intoxicated man was transported to WTH. Investigated by Officer Allsup.

#033 Robbery/Stolen Vehicle
As the above call was being worked, another call of a potential stabbing came in from Motel 6 (north).  A male victim reported he was robbed at knife point by a female subject he met at the hotel. The male victim sustained superficial cuts/scrapes to his hand and explained the female suspect robbed him of his car keys, wallet and cellphone while at the motel. The female then searched for his vehicle a 2011 BMW, in the parking lot which she proceeded to drive away without his permission. Case investigated by Officer Howell and FTO Macciola.

#003 Stolen Vehicle / Pursuit
Officers located an occupied stolen vehicle (1997 Acura Legend, 4D, gold) in the area of Mission / Niles Blvd. After waiting for additional units, a vehicle stop was attempted. The driver of the Acura fled and a pursuit was initiated. The vehicle fled northbound on Mission Blvd. eventually heading into Hayward. The vehicle proceeded to then turn back southbound on Mission Blvd. and eventually made its way back into Fremont where it entered onto I680 from Washington Blvd. Fremont units continued to give chase and a request was made for CHP to take over the pursuit. CHP had a unit ready to receive the pursuit in San Jose near the McKee exit. The vehicle took the McKee exit however and was able to evade officers.

#007 DUI Arrest
At 2:42 a.m., officers were dispatched on a collision detail in the area of Coco Palm / Sundale Dr. A 35 year old man crashed his vehicle into a parked car after a night of heavy drinking. He was arrested for DUI by Officer Degenstein.

Homeless Related Calls for Service
-Raleys:  Transient yelled at security when asked to leave the property
-Carls Jr. Centerville:  Employees called about a homeless subject who had been on the property for 3 days.  Units discovered the subject to be a missing person from a report taken earlier in the day.  The man was transported to WTH for medical attention and taken out of the missing persons system.
-Vallero Gas Mowry:  Employees called about a transient smoking near the gas pumps.
-7/11 Blacow:  Employees called about a transient who was aggressively asking for money from customers.

#013 Auto Burglary
An auto burglary was reported in the 500 block of Enos St.  The burglary occurred between 6:00 - 10:00 a.m.  Unknown method of entry and reported the loss was electronic items.

#022 Residential Burglary
A residential burglary was reported in the 37600 block of Fremont Blvd. The suspect forced entry through the patio fence while the home was unoccupied.  Officer Francisco is completing follow-up with the investigation.

#037 Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Swing shift units responded to a residence on Logan Dr. on the report of a stabbing.  The victim was reportedly stabbed during a family disturbance/fight by a juvenile.  Multiple officers responded to the scene. Initially witnesses provided officers with conflicting reports of whether the suspect fled the residence or was still inside.  An Emergency Response Team was put into place and a drone was deployed.  A perimeter was quickly established that encompassed the residence as well as the neighborhood.  Shortly after, containment units observed the juvenile in the rear yard.  The suspect surrendered to officers.   The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury and was transported to a local trauma center for medical care.  The juvenile was transported to a local hospital for an injury from the fight.  He was released within several hours and booked at Juvenile Hall. 

Homesless Related Calls for Service
-Safeway Hub:  Security called about a transient woman with an active restraining order being near the property.  Officers arrived and found that she was just outside of the Hub property line.
-40577 Grimmer Blvd.:  A reporting party called about an encampment under the awning of this address.  Officers found that the property was abandoned. 
-Shinn St./Von Euw Co.:  Transients reported to be camping at the end of Shinn.
-Auto Mall Storage:  Transients in a RV removed human waste and dompted it into the storm drain.  They were contacted and issued FMC citations.
-Walgreen’s Decoto:  An intoxicated transient was reported inside of the business.
-4000 block of Bay St.:  An employee couldn’t access his business because a transient was asleep in the entryway.

#039 DUI Arrest
Officer Allsup conducted a traffic stop in the area of Fremont / Beard Rd. The driver, a 48 year old adult man, was arrested for DUI.
