18-year-old Malik Spencer's vehicle was recovered this morning in Beaufort County, but he remains missing. 
Malik Spencer, 18, of Lobeco was reported missing Wednesday night by family members. Malik was last seen at his Lobeco residence on Tuesday at approximately 7:00 a.m. and did not show up for work on Wednesday. This morning Malik's silver Toyota Camry was recovered in a rural area of Beaufort County and, as of this afternoon, Malik remains missing. Sheriff's Office personnel are searching for Malik in the area where his vehicle was found.
It is out of character for Malik not to have made contact with his family by now and they are extremely concerned for his safety.
