#019 Suspicious Circumstance/Resisting Arrest
At 10:01 a.m., a passerby called 911 to report a male with a handgun holstered on his belt standing in front of Denny’s on Mowry Ave.  Numerous officers responded and contacted the suspect, a 29 year old adult male, Fremont resident in front of the restaurant.  They could see the gun, which appeared to be a revolver.  The male said the firearm was fake but was non-compliant with commands to put the firearm on the ground.  Officers kept distance and after additional K9 announcements, a police dog was used to assist with the arrest.  The male was arrested for resisting arrest. 
 
#030 Battery
During a funeral at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, a family fight broke out.  After sorting out the situation, a 41 year old female, San Jose resident, was arrested for battery.  As she was being placed in handcuffs, she struggled with officers.  Once handcuffed, she continued to fight and kick the officers as they tried to place her into the patrol car.  On the way to Santa Rita Jail she spit on the windows, seats and threated to choke the officer when she got out of the patrol car.  She was booked for battery, obstructing/resisting and public intoxication.   
 
#003 Robbery
A victim called FPD to report a male acquaintance, had punched her in the face and stole her purse and cell phone.  The male fled on foot in the area of Nursery and Niles.  Officers responded to the area and contacted the victim about the incident.  The victim refused to provide a description of the suspsect then became uncooperative with officers trying to assist her.  Officer Gerber documented the incident.
 
#004 Vandalism
At 2:01 a.m., a reporting party stated he was standing on the front porch of his residence on Doane St. when a vehicle drove by and shot at his car parked in the driveway.  The reporting party believed he heard two pops.  Officers arrived at and found the rear window of the vehicle had one small BB size hole in it.  Officers canvassed the area for casings and were unable to locate any.  No other damage was located.  The suspect vehicle was described as a 2000's model, 4-door Honda Accord, tan/gold in color with back rims.
 
#006 Warrant Arrest
A Fremont Hub Security Guard called FPD to report he had been pushed by two males while at CVS.  The subjects had left the store and got into a vehicle parked outside.  Officers arrive on scene and contact the involve parties.  One of the involved parties, a 39 year old adult male, was arrested for an active felony warrant.
 
Homeless/Transient Related Calls for Service:
 
Disturbance:  A 27 year old male transient entered Raleys and started threatening customers.  He remained there for almost two hours until officers became available to respond to the call.  He was moved along by officers.
 
Drunk in Public:  Officer Wong contacted a 49 year old adult male after he began threatening employees at Food Maxx.  He was extremely intoxicated and booked at Santa Rita for drunk in public.

#012 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
Officer Gigliotti stopped a male whom was on probation with a search clause.  During a search, he was found to be in possession of a glass meth pipe.  The male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and booked him into FPD jail. 

#008 Trespassing and Obstructing/Resisting Arrest
Officers responded to complaints about a homeless encampment behind Bay Area Baptist Church on Peralta.  They encountered an adult male who fled upon contact, but was quickly caught.  The male put up a fight and a Taser was used during the encounter.  The male was booked into FPD jail. 

#026 Commercial Burglary
Two females entered the 24-hour fitness  located in the 35600 block of Fremont Blvd and stole several items out of the locker room, including phones, currency and a wallet.   Suspect #1- 20 -30 year old black female, 5'6, 220 lbs., last seen wearing black jacket, pink tank top, black pants, carrying a gym bag.
Suspect #2- 20-30 year old black female, 5'7-5'8, 130-140 lbs., tattoos on face and neck, last seen wearing pink Madonna shirt, black yoga pants, carrying a black gym bag.

#028 DUI Arrest
A reporting party called Fremont dispatch to advise they had observed two drunk males get into a panel work truck while in the area of G St and Iron Horse Way.  Fremont dispatch broadcasted the information out to patrol officers.  Officers responded to the area and located the vehicle still in the area.  The driver, a 52 year old adult male was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.  The male was arrested for such and later booked at Santa Rita without incident. 

Day Shift responded to approximately 13 homeless and transient related calls for service throughout the city.

#023 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
Officer L. Ramirez detained two subjects on foot for a vehicle code violation in the area of Fremont Blvd and Peralta Boulevard.  A 29 year old female was arrested for being in possession of smoking paraphernalia (meth pipe).
 
#022 DUI Collision
An injury collision occurred in the area of Hardwood Street and Applewood Street. The driver, a 32 year old adult male was arrested for driving under the influence of an alcohol.  Case investigated by Officer Oliveira and Traffic Officer Snow.
 
#027 DUI/Hit and Run
A non-injury collision occurred in the area of Mowry Avenue and Bell Street. The registered owner fled and was later detained in an apartment complex nearby. The driver, a 37 year old adult male, was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and hit and run.
 
Officers responded to approximately 7 homeless/transient related calls for service throughout the day.
