Transient/Homeless Related Calls for Service:
 
Officers responded to a report of a transient at Starbucks (5000 block of Mowry) who threatened to shoot people inside the cafĂ© and threw a milk jug into a crowd of people.  The transient rode off on his bicycle prior to police arrival.  He was described as a white male in his 20’s wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and jeans. 

Officers responded to a report of a campsite being set up at Centerville Park by four transients.  They were contacted and agreed to move along. 
Officers responded to the Old Town Market on Dusterberry on a report of a transient female who was in possession of a shopping cart filled with trash and refusing to leave from the front of the business.  She agreed to leave after speaking with officers.

Officers made contact with a male subject who had been living out of his car in the parking lot of the Country Club Apartments.   He agreed to move along after speaking with officers. 

Officers made contact with transients on Research Ave who had set up a camp near the freeway. 

Transients reported at the Pasa Tiempo Apartments acting suspiciously.

Cases of Interest:

#031 Forgery
Officer Liu was dispatched to a forgery at the Check Agencies of California.  The suspect fled prior to Officer Liu’s arrival, however he was located shortly after and arrested for forgery.
 
#033 Robbery
Officer Trzewieczynski investigated a strong-arm robbery where a male adult stole cash from inside a residence.   When confronted, the male suspect struck the victim and fled the residence.  He was located nearby and arrested for Robbery.
 
#034 Auto Burglary
Officer Calvin took a late reported auto burglary that occurred the prior night at In-N-Out.  Security provided information for the victim who was contacted.  Security also assisted by reviewing footage of the incident and provided a description of the suspect vehicle, described as a white SUV.
 
#001 Obstructing/Resisting Arrest & Trespassing
Officers Carter and Wilson were dispatched on an alarm call off Mission Falls Ct. No signs of forced entry were located and both officers were about to clear the call. After securing the location, two male subjects were seen running away from the area and jumping a fence. One subject was quickly apprehended and identified as a 20 year old adult male. The second suspect continued fleeing eastbound and was last seen in the area of an apartment complex south of Warren Ave.  A large perimeter was set up and a search, utilizing two K9s was conducted. As this was being done, information was developed regarding the second suspect and he was identified as a 19 year old adult male.  The male was contacted at his place of residence, just south of the perimeter officers had set up.   The 19 year old adult male was arrested for obstructing/resisting and the 18 year old adult male was issued a trespass warning.

#003 Obstructing/Resisting
Officers were dispatched to the area of Smart and Final on a call of a male stealing a bicycle from in front of the store. The suspect was described as a Filipino Male, with no shirt and wearing blue or tan shorts. The suspect fled westbound into the area of the Paragon Apartments upon being contacted by officers. A 38 year old adult male was contacted in the area and was arrested for 148(a)(1) obstructing/resisting. The bike theft could not be substantiated. Investigated by Officer Soper.
