Pomona Police Officers rush a toddler to Pomona Valley Hospital after being found in pool unresponsive. 
Pomona Police Officers responded to the 1500 blk of Westwood Pl. for a drowning victim.
On arrival they discovered a toddler unconscious, unresponsive and surrounded by panicked family members.
Officers quickly recovered the child from the home and transported the victim to Pomona Valley Hospital in a police unit with emergency lights and sirens. A Sergeant drove while the officer was in the back seat with the victim providing life saving measures.
Police Dispatch notified the hospital that officers were on the way with a child that was not breathing and the medical staff met the officer as he carried the victim into the emergency room.
The child is listed in critical condition.
