18th St. between Swift & Buchanan closed 5-19 from 7-11 for Flash Dash 5k. Runners will be on the streets S of Armour 
On Saturday, May 19th the Second Annual Flash Dash 5k will be on the streets of North Kansas City. The race begins at 9:00am. This is mostly an open course for traffic with the exception of 18th Ave. from Swift to Buchanan for race staging and start/finish. The course will wind through the industrial area of NKC, South of Armour to 10th St.
Approximately 700 runners/walkers have signed up to participate. If your daily travels bring you to this area please be on the lookout for the participants and be courteous to the volunteers and police officers working to ensure a safe race.
