#010 Possession of Methamphetamine
Officer Sun stopped a bicyclist in the area of Posada and Montecito.  The male had an active search clause and was searched per the terms of his probation.  The male was found to have two bags containing a white crystal like substance, suspected to be methamphetamine, in his shoe.  The male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

#011 Commercial Burglary
CSO Schwartz investigated a commercial burglary on Osgood Rd. that occurred between 5:35 am - 5:38 am.  The business was burglarized last month and stolen keys may have been used to gain entry this morning.  Loss was a laptop and cash.  Two non-descript males could be seen in video surveillance entering the business and an associated vehicle may be a white 4-door sedan.

#031 Warrant Arrest
Officer Oliveira stopped an adult male near Grimmer and Doane.  The male was found to have an outstanding felony warrant stemming from an investigation from back in April.  He was arrested on the outstanding warrant.

Another locker theft at City Sports was investigated by CSO Tsai.  

#002 Under the Influence Arrests
At 3:59 a.m., officers were dispatched to a possible commercial burglary on the 47100 block of Warm Springs Blvd.  Security personnel in a different country were watching video surveillance of two suspects who appeared to be breaking into a commercial building.  The person monitoring the surveillance footage stated they were loading things into their white older vehicle.  Officers arrived and quickly detained two subjects, a 25 year old male and a 40 year old male, without incident.  It was determined they were parked next to the commercial building in question but never attempted entry.  They did admit to dumpster diving and located some discarded food.  In the end, both were arrested by being under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Residential Burglary
Officers were dispatched to conduct a security check at an address on Valero Dr. and found a rear window smashed.  A neighbor’s surveillance video captured a suspicious person in a white Nissan Cube at the time of the burglary. 

#032 Deceased Person - Marshlands
At 4:00 p.m., FPD Officers were dispatched to the shoreline of Coyote Hills Preserve.  A  community member walking along the shoreline saw what he believed to be the deceased remains of an adult.   With the assistance of a drone from Fremont Fire and a helicopter from East Bay Regional Parks, the body was found north of the Dumbarton Bridge.  The East Bay Regional airship “Eagle 7” provided our CSI and his assistant direct access to the deceased for the investigation.   With the assistance of an air boat from the Menlo Park Fire Department the body was recovered.  Deputies from the Alameda County Coroner’s Office responded and took possession of the deceased.   No immediate determination could be made regarding the identity of the body or the cause of its death.  
 
#038 Robbery
Officer Catassi was sent to investigate a strong arm robbery at Safeway located within the Fremont Hub.  The suspects were described as follows:
Suspect#1 Black male, 20’s, approximately 5’7”, wearing a black hoodie with a Nike logo, faded light blue jeans and black high top shoes.
Suspect#2 Black female, 20-30 years old, with a high bun in her hair, wearing a black hoodie and had a backpack. 
 
#046 Public Intoxication Arrest
Officers working a special DUI patrol assignment and were flagged down at the 7-Eleven on Mohave Dr.  It was reported that a male was going around the parking lot yelling and challenging people to fight.  The officers located a 33 year old male matching the description who immediately became immediately combative upon their attempt to contact him.  The male was eventually arrested for being drunk in public and resisting arrest.  He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
 
#002 DUI Arrest
A community member reported a person was passed out behind the steering wheel at a stop light on Stevenson Blvd at Blacow Rd.  The driver awoke and drove off while officers were on the way.  The caller followed the vehicle to where it stopped in the roadway again on Coco Palm Dr. at Blacow Rd.  Officers contacted the 46 year old driver who had too much to drink.  The male driver was booked at the Fremont Jail after officers authored a McNeely warrant for the blood draw.

#008 Grand Theft
Officer Forsberg and FTO Scherer investigated a theft at the AM/PM Mini Mart on Grimmer Blvd. where two suspects entered the store and stole several boxes of cigarettes and lottery tickets.  Suspects were described as a white female adult, 60-70 yrs. and a white male adult, 60-70 yrs. old. 

#022 Robbery (Estes)
A suspect stole a couple of projectors from Fry’s Electronics and threatened the employees when they tried to stop them.  The suspect was described as a Black male adult in his 20’s, wearing a grey shirt and blue pants.  He jumped into the passenger seat of a silver Honda Accord.
 
#049 DUI Arrest
Officer Carter conducted a traffic stop just over the border into Newark on Newark Blvd at Jarvis Ave.  Officer Carter contacted the 41 year old male driver and determined he was driving under the influence of alcohol.  Officer Carter arrested the male for DUI and transported him to the Fremont Jail for booking.

#002 Possession of Methamphetamine Arrest
Officer La Strape conducted a stop on a bicyclist Auto Mall Pkwy at Christy St.  Officer La Strape contacted a 29 year old male who was on probation 3 x with search terms. During a search of the male, he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.  The male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and transported Santa Rita Jail for booking.

#006 Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest
Officers were dispatched to a local hospital on the report a male calling for help from a pay phone.  Officers arrived and found a male waving a shovel and throwing large rocks at paramedics.  The male was detained and found to on searchable probation.  He was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

Under the Influence of Drugs
Officer Ramirez and FTO Kennedy contacted an adult male in the area of Mowry and Paseo Padre near the Sprouts store and arrested him for being under the influence of drugs.

#017 Possession of Drugs
Officer Montojo and Officer Taylor responded to a call of possible trespassing near Automall/Osgood.  Once there, they contact two males, who were on probation.  They had cut the lock to access the property and set up a camp.  Both were arrested for possession of drugs.

#031 Shoplifting
At 6:09 p.m., officers were sent to an in-progress theft at the ULTA store located at the Fremont Hub.  Several Officers responded to the area and the suspects were located near Trader Joes.  Eventually four suspects were detained, but only two were positively identified as the suspects.  A 47 year old female and an 18 year old female, both went to jail for shoplifting. 
 
#002 Unlawful Gun Possession
At 1:04 a.m., Officer Dennis conducted a traffic stop at the 7-Eleven on Decoto Rd.  He contacted a 35 year old adult male who was on Alameda County PRCS for gun violations and assault with a deadly weapon.  Officer Dennis conducted a search and recovered a handgun that had the serial numbers tampered with.  Officer Dennis arrested the male for the unlawful gun possession, firearm serial number tampering, and violated his county parole.  Officer Dennis transported the 35 year old male to the Fremont Jail for booking.

#001 Possession of Burglary Tools, Prowling, etc.
Officers are dispatched to Woodcreek Tr. on the report of suspicious persons.  It was being reported that two people were trying car door handles in the parking lot to the apartment complex and may have had tools and backpacks.  Officer La Strape arrived to find a female hiding between cars.  Officer Gonzales and Officer Calvin arrived to assist and a male came out of hiding as well.  Both were detained.  A 32 year old male and a 30 year old female were arrested for possession of burglary tools, prowling, possession of methamphetamine and probation violations.  Both were transported to the Fremont Jail for booking.
