#005 Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Robbery (late report)
At 6:17 a.m., a victim reported he was at the Jack in the Box restaurant located on Ardenwood Blvd. when an unknown suspect attacked him. The victim, who was heavily intoxicated at the time, could not tell exactly what happened but believed he was struck in the head with an unknown object. The unknown suspect then stole the victim’s bike. The victim did not report the incident after it happened, but instead walked over into Newark’s jurisdiction before calling FPD. He was ultimately transported to a local hospital for his injuries. Officer Egan and FTO Smith handled the investigation. A check of the local homeless encampments located behind the Jack in the Box did not yield any witnesses or additional leads.

#007 Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Road rage)
At 7:06 a.m., a victim called to report that a vehicle, described as being a late 90s- early 00’s white Honda Civic,  almost collided into his own vehicle after running a stop sign in the area of Dumbarton/Campus Ct. The victim decided to follow the suspect vehicle to confront him regarding his reckless driving. After catching up to the Honda Civic, the suspect driver, described as a Hispanic male adult, early 20’s, curly hair, wearing glasses, purposely drove towards the victim narrowly missing him, but struck his vehicle. Follow up to be conducted by investigating officers.

#021 Theft
At 12:48 p.m., a petty theft occurred at the Safeway (Warm Springs) resulting in the theft of alcohol and baby formula. Store employees call and report that the male suspects were last seen taking off in a Green Jeep Cherokee on Mission Blvd. Officer Kwok and FTO Ramirez locate the vehicle near the area of Warm Springs/Grimmer Blvd.  A 19 year old San Leandro resident, a 20 year old Fremont resident and a 22 year old Oakland resident were all arrested for petty theft.

Four Complaint of Pain Traffic Collisions; #024 Mowry Ave & Glenview Dr / #027 Peralta Bl & Maple St / #028 Witherly Ln & Mission Bl / #037 Auto Mall Pkwy & Grimmer Bl.  All collisions documented by the Traffic Unit.

#029 Stolen Vehicle
A victim purchased a vehicle from an auto auction Thursday night and had it delivered outside the gates of his car dealership near Peralta & Joseph.  The new owner discovered the vehicle was  missing  Friday morning.  Stolen was a blue, 2- door, 1998 Honda Civic, with two plates of Ca Lic. 6HYX646.  Case investigated by CSO Tsai.

#042 Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance
At 5:42 p.m., Officer Bordy arrested a 24 year old adult male, Fremont resident for being under the influence of a controlled substance after he was causing a disturbance in the Food Maxx parking lot, located in the 39400 block of Fremont Blvd.  The male was transported to Santa Rita for booking.

#043 Trespassing
Officer Manrique arrested a 38 year old adult female, San Jose resident, at the Sephora Store located in the 43500 block of Christy St., after she told a store employee that items in the store belonged to her and refused to leave the store when asked to do so.  The female was transported to the Fremont Jail for processing and charged with trespassing, possession of burglary tools and for a probation violation.

#004 DUI Arrest
At 4:24 a.m., a reporting party called to advise that a vehicle with no front right tire was driving around the area of Fremont Blvd. and Washington Blvd.  Officers check the area and follow tire debris in the roadway and end up locating the vehicle at Washington and Olive.  Officers locate the driver standing on the passenger side of the vehicle and she admits to officers that she had been drinking.  The 25 year old female is arrested for DUI.

#010 Commercial Burglary
CSO Schwartz took a report of a commercial burglary on Albrae St.  The suspect(s) forced entry into a key box and rear door.  The loss was about $5000 in tools and copper.  No suspect info at this point. 

#033 Drunk in Public
At 8:56 p.m., Officer Paiva conducted a pedestrian stop in the 4900 block of Stevenson Blvd.  A 29 year old male was stumbling in the center of the main traffic lane within a parking lot, while holding a 24 oz can of beer.  The male continued to drink the beer as he walked, which is a Fremont Municipal Code violation.  Officer Paiva asked the male to come towards him.  The male began to walk in his direction, then he stopped to drink the remaining contents of the beer and threw the can in a nearby bush.  The male was found to be drunk in public and unable to care for himself.  He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

#034 Vehicle Code
Officer Manrique initiated a traffic stop at in the 41000 block of Fremont Blvd., which was the location of a side show last week.  Several modified vehicles were parked in front of the area and one had a very loud exhaust.  As it left the area, a traffic stop was conducted.  The vehicle yielded and the driver was informed why he was being stopped for loud exhaust.  The occupants refused to open the hood to allow for a motor compartment inspection.  The 30 year old driver was detained after he advised he preferred to be arrested rather than comply with the inspection.  The driver eventually agreed to sign a citation and was cited for failure to comply with a lawful order of inspection and the passenger/owner was cited for the vehicle modifications.
After the stop, several vehicles were contacted parked in front of O’Reilly’s and asked to move on to hopefully prevent a repeat of last week's sideshow events in this parking lot.

#021 Driving Under the Influence
At 2:25 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 4600 block of Hansen Avenue after a women fell out of a moving vehicle during an argument with the driver.  The driver a 35 year old adult male was stopped by officers and found to be driving while under the influence of alcohol and with a suspended license.  He was arrested by Officer Han and booked at FPD jail after providing a blood sample. The female refused medical attention and got a ride home from a friend.  The argument was determined to be verbal only.

#042 Robbery
At 11:07 p.m., Officer B. Johnson was flagged down by a community member on Walnut Ave.  This male stated he was the victim of a robbery at the hands of 3-4 suspects.  A firearm was displayed and the victim believed he could identify some of the suspects.  After the victim was relieved of his cell phone and money clip the suspects fled to an awaiting vehicle that was last seen westbound on Mowry Ave.  The suspect vehicle was only described as a sedan.   
Suspect #1: White male adult with grey beanie and facial hair and 25-30 years old.  This suspect had the firearm that could only be described as a semi-automatic handgun, no further detail provided. 
 
Suspect #2: Black male adult, dark jacket with hood and no facial hair.  This suspect is also reportedly 25-30 years old.
 
Suspects #3 and possible #4 were in the background and the victim was unable to provide a description or confirm if there was a fourth suspect.

#001 Criminal Threats
Officers were dispatched to a report of a male brandishing a firearm at Kirby’s Sports Bar.  A description was provided and a group of males matching the description were stopped at Blacow Rd and Sherwood.  Through the investigation, the subjects were identified as the involved parties.  A 25 year old suspect, Hayward resident, was identified as having the gun by witnesses and victims.  When the suspect was stopped he had a magazine and a holster for a Glock.  The missing Glock was found field stripped.  The receiver was found in a nearby yard and the barrel and slide were found on nearby rooftop.  Some parts were not located.  This firearm was registered to the suspect.  The suspect was arrested and booked at the Fremont Jail on charges of criminal threats, exhibiting a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, destroying/concealing evidence.

#006 Found Property – Firearm
At 9:29 a.m., a community member reports a firearm on the sidewalk in the 38100 block of Young Dr.  Officer Austin responded to the area and located a hand gun. The gun had a fully loaded magazine inserted. The firearm was not reported stolen and there was no evidence
of a shooting in the area.  A brown or tan SUV had been in the area the evening prior and is possibly related.  Further investigation is being conducted.
 
#012 Theft/Warrants
At 12:47 p.m., Officer Ramirez and FTO Kwok responded to Fry’s who had detained a 22 year old male, Livermore resident for shoplifting. The male was also found to have two outstanding felony warrants out of Tracy.  The male was arrested and booked at the Fremont Jail.
 
#023 Outside Assist – In-Custody Stolen Vehicle Arrest
At 7:54 p.m., a reporting party called 9-1-1 to report a vehicle, described as a 4-door red Mercedes, blocking the community entrance gate near Sabercat Ct.  The RP advised the vehicle was occupied by a male subject who refused to talk to her.  Officer Haugh arrived on scene and the vehicle and subject were still there.  Officer Haugh advised dispatch the vehicle’s license plate and the vehicle came back stolen from another jurisdiction.  Officer Haugh requested additional cover officers.  A 31 year old adult male was arrested for the stolen vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, providing false information to a peace officer and a violation of probation.

#025 Robbery
A clerk from the Quick Stop located on Camden called 9-1-1 to report a customer being physically assaulted in front of the business.  Officers arrived and determined all involved parties were students from a local high school.  There was a verbal argument which escalated into a physical altercation.  During the altercation, the suspect took the victim’s wallet and car keys.  Follow up to be conducted.
