The employees were very shaken up and the business closed for the remainder of the evening.

#042 Warrant Arrest
Officer Floresca stopped a possible suspect from the above robbery, but it turned out to not be a match.  However the detained individual just happened to have an active arrest warrant so he went to jail.

#043 Battery and Vandalism
At 6:39 p.m., multiple officers were sent to a residence on the report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 4600 block of Stafford Ave.  The call came in from a female alleging that her female roommate stabbed her and her dog.   When officers arrived they learned it was a hoax call and that there have been ongoing issues at the residence with a female roommate.  The roommate, who has a long history of causing disturbances and call FPD making false claims, left the house with her dog on foot.  Several officers began searching the surrounding neighborhood and located the suspect near Blacow Park.  The officers at the scene obtained evidence that the roommate had battered another resident, leaving a mark on her skin and also vandalized personal property of the homeowner.  The 46 year old female suspect was detained and eventually arrested for battery and vandalism.  While there was no immediate evidence could be located, the same phone number that called in this incident today, has called into our dispatch center an upwards of 50 times since the middle of February.  The suspect was booked into Santa Rita County Jail.
