We have taken numerous reports of counterfeit bills circulating in the area. The money in question are bills that are marked as $20 dollar bills. They have "Replica" printed on the front of the currency. If you look closely at the note, it states, "This note is not legal. It is to be used for motion pictures." We are asking citizens and local merchants to be aware when accepting bills and urge you to check its authenticity. Citizens who come into possession of these bills or any other counterfeit currency are requested to contact their local authorities. Thank you!
