#017 Commercial Burglary
At 11:36 a.m., employees from a business in the 3100 block of Mowry Ave called to report two males stole $600+ worth of items and attacked loss prevention when confronted.  Mikel Bartos (20, Fremont) and Roger Kang (18, San Jose) were arrested and booked for commercial burglary. 
 
#022 Residential Burglary (Attempt)
A victim in the 1700 block of Vancouver Common reported a male was knocking on her front door for 10-15 minutes, and then broke the window of her bedroom to gain entry.  The victim gathered her two children and fled to the garage.  Numerous patrol units responded but the suspect fled prior to our arrival.  Documented by Officer Stiers.
 
#037 Warrant Arrest
Officer K. Godrich and FTO Taylor conducted a traffic stop for a registration violation near Mowry Ave and Fremont Blvd.  They found that the 44 year old female of Antioch had two outstanding arrest warrant.  She was arrested for two drug possession warrants and transported to the Fremont Jail.
 
#051 Lewd Acts
Officer G. Oliveira completed follow up from a July 17th lewd act case were a male was masturbating in the children’s section of a retail store.  After following leads and identifying the suspect, Officer Oliveira obtained both an arrest and a search warrant.  Sgt. Crandall lead a team of Officers to the suspect’s home where he was arrested and additional evidence was located.  David Fluckiger, a 28 year old Fremont resident, was arrested for lewd acts and transported to Santa Rita Jail.
 
#001 Warrant Arrest
At 12:03 a.m., Officer Floresca and FTO B. Johnson conducted a traffic stop  in the area of Paseo Padre Pkwy and Thornton Ave.  The driver, a 27 year old Union City resident, was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant.
 
#002 Commercial Burglary
A business on the 46300 block of Mission Blvd was burglarized.  Suspect entered through the rooftop.

#004 Petty Theft
At 6:38 a.m., officers responded to a business on the 39400 block of Fremont Blvd. after store employees called to report a male had just stolen beer and fled the store.  Officers contacted Kul Singh, a 48 year old adult male, Fremont resident nearby.  Officer Stiers accepted the citizen’s arrest for petty theft, and Singh was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
#010 Stolen Vehicle-
At 9:24 a.m., CSO Officer Ernst investigated a vehicle theft from the Campo Di Bocci parking lot which had occurred sometime overnight.  The missing vehicle is a black 2013 Nissan GTR / personalized license plate of GANNIMA. 
 
#012 At-Risk Missing Person
 At 11:01 a.m., CSO Officer Anders took a report of a 31 year old, at risk missing female .  The missing female was last seen on 07-28-2017 at 9:00 p.m., in the 3100 block of Mowry Ave.  As CSO Anders was completing the missing person entry, she learned Newark PD had recently contacted the missing female in their city.   The female was transported to a hospital and reunited with her family.
 
#018 Residential Burglary
Officer Tsai investigated a residential burglary in the 4800 block of Eggers Drive, where the victim returned from a week of vacation and discovered their house in disarray.  Loss will be determined later.
 
#017 Theft
Officer Bordy was sent to the 39100 block of the Fremont Hub to investigate a theft where the victim may have captured the suspect on video surveillance.  Officer Bordy will conduct further follow up to attempt to identify the actual suspect.
 
Car Show
A car show was scheduled for Union Landing in Union City.  UCPD and CHP teamed up to discourage the event from occurring.   The car group moved their event to the Las Palmas Shopping Center in Fremont on Mission Blvd.   With the collaboration of all three agencies, over 100 cars were successfully (and safely) pushed out of this commercial parking lot. FPD could not have done this alone, so a big thank you to CHP and Union City! 
 
#003 DUI Arrest
At 2:03 a.m., Officer Dubowy located Horst Papenfuss (55, Fremont resident) passed out at the wheel at Stevenson Blvd and Blacow Road.  Papenfuss is arrested for DUI. 
 
#029 Residential Burglary
Officer Floresca and FTO B. Johnson were dispatched to the 33200 block of Pheasant Street in regards to a cold residential burglary.  An unknown suspect broke out side windows and ransacked the house.  Loss to be determined.
 
#001 Armed Robbery
At 12:29 a.m., a male victim called to report he was robbed at gunpoint in the 46300 block of Mission Blvd.  Investigation revealed the victim had answered a Craigslist add in regards to prostitution.  The victim was directed to a room on the second floor.  Upon his arrival and knock at the door a female suspect answered the door and pointed a gun at the victim.  The victim was ordered to hand over his money.  The victim complied and then fled.  The suspect was last seen running and getting into an awaiting dark colored vehicle.  Officer C. Cordero is case agent and is conducting follow up. 
Suspect:  Black female adult, 20's, 5'02", 100lbs, shoulder length brown hair, wearing a grey cloak, grey shorts, armed with a handgun.

#019 Warrant Service
At 6:00 p.m., Officer Troy Roberts served a misdemeanor arrest warrant on a 22 year old adult male, and drove him to Santa Rita.
 
#018 Warrant Service
At 4:38 p.m., Officer Montojo served a misdemeanor arrest warrant on a 32 year old adult female, Newark resident and took her to jail.
 
#015 Robbery
Officers were sent to the 418oo block of Blacow Road to investigate a strong arm robbery.  The victim connected with the suspects via “Letgo” and wanted to purchase an iPhone.  They agreed to meet at the park and conduct the transaction there.  Once they met, the suspects robbed the victim and stole his wallet along with his phone.  The phone was recovered nearby but the wallet and cash were gone.  This case is being investigated by Officer Loughery.  The suspects were described as black male adults and one was wearing a black hoodie, grey sweats and white shoes.  The second suspect was wearing a navy blue hoodie.  The victim thinks the suspects had curly hair.
 
#022 Vicious Animal
At 8:08 p.m., officers were dispatched to a 911 call at Vallejo Mills Park (37800 block of Mission Blvd) on the report of a vicious dog.  While officers were responding, the caller told dispatch a dog was attacking two females and chewing them up.  When officers arrived they discovered two adult females whose hands were covered in blood attempting to control an extremely violent dog.  Both females had already been bitten and the dog owner had a serious wound to her hand.  The females were trying to break up a dog fight when one dog turned on the owner.  Officers attempted to use a snare pole to control the dog; however the animal attacked the pole and violently shook it.  Attempting to free itself, it eventually began to slip away from the noose.  Because of the serious injury and the potential for further violence the dog had to be dispatched by one of the officers.  Both females were transported via ambulance to the hospital.

#003 Unlicensed Driver 
Officer Scherer conducted a traffic stop and learned the juvenile driver was unlicensed.  The driver was cited.
