#004 Driving on a Suspended License Arrest
At 8:00 a.m., Officer Godrich and FTO Gourley stopped a vehicle in the area of Stevenson Blvd. and Fremont Blvd. for a vehicle code violation.  During the contact, they arrested the driver Gregory Coleman (M35) for driving on a suspended license.

#017 Evading
Officer Carter initiated a vehicle stop for a vehicle code violation at Auto Mall and I880. The driver of the white Toyota Camry 4 –door, fled at a high rate of speed.  Officers did not pursue. Officer Carter is following up.

#005 Warrant Arrest
At 8:50 a.m., while investigating a report of suspicious vehicle in the 2200 block of Anapolis Dr., Officer Carter arrested James Greene (M24) for warrants.
 
#020 Auto Burglary
At 12:53 p.m., Officer Carter investigated an auto burglary in the 4100 block of Cushing Pkwy that occurred between 12:30 p.m. – 12:50 p.m.  An unknown suspect broke the rear window to gain access into the vehicle.  A laptop, back pack and rolling luggage bag were all taken.  The luggage was later located at the Southland Mall by Security in Hayward. 

Swings and Mids responded to four mental health calls, resulting in four individuals being placed on holds.

#001 DUI Arrest
At 12:23 a.m., Officer Burch and Officer De Stefano were dispatched to a vehicle  that had crashed into a parked car on the 37500 block of Glenmoor Drive.  The driver Justin Paredero (M26) was arrested for DUI.  Officer Burch handled the DUI investigation while Officer De Stefano handled the crash investigation.

#032 Garage Burglary
At 7:19 p.m. officers were dispatched to investigate a garage burglary on the 37600 block of Los Arboles Dr.  The reporting party told officers an unknown person entered his open garage door and removed an unlocked road bicycle from the garage wall.  The bike was valued at $2,000.

#013 Vehicle Code Violations
Officer Dennis stopped a vehicle in the 34100 block of Fremont Blvd and arrested David Fullerton (M37) for various violations.

#025 Warrant Service
At 3:54 p.m., Officer Franchi stopped Joaquin Beza (M26) in the 43900 block of Ice House Terrace and arrested him for a warrant as well as for possession of drug paraphernalia.

#012 Mental Health Hold
Officers responded to the 41200 block of Blacow Rd for a welfare check. Officer Franchi placed an adult male, who was gravely disabled, on a hold for mental health evaluation.

#032 Possession of a Controlled Substance
At 3:45 p.m., Officer LaStrape stopped William Hunting, a 46 year old adult male on the 370000 block of Meadowbrook Common and arrested him for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of a controlled substance and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.

#040 Warrant Service
At 6:48 p.m., Officer Rose responded to a trespassing call on the 3800 block of Washington Blvd., where a fire had just been distinguished.  During his contact with the people at the scene, he arrested Jose Miguel Rivera (M65) for an active misdemeanor warrant.

#009 Commercial Burglary
At 11:49 a.m., CSO Ernst investigated a cold commercial burglary at a fitness gym in the 39100 block of Farwell Dr. The loss is keys and a wallet from a locker in the gym.

#011 Attempted Residential Burglary
At 1:36 p.m., CSO Romero investigated an attempted residential burglary in the 2000 block of Walnut Ave.  There were small scratches and markings located on the door to the residence.

#021 Robbery and Prostitution Arrest
Officers responded to a hotel located in the 5300 block of Farwell Pl. to investigate a robbery.  Officers met with a male victim.  The victim told officers he had made contact with an unidentified female via Backpage on June 30, and arranged to meet at the hotel for sexual favors.  Once in the hotel room an unknown male suspect forced his way into the room at approximately 11:00 p.m. and brandished a handgun.  The victim was robbed of his cash. Officers began investigating and learned the room had been rented to Malina Acosta, a 26 year old San Leandro resident.  Acosta and her associate, Rayshaud Warner, a 29 year old adult male, Sacramento resident were detained on July 2, 2017 at 11:18 a.m. at the same hotel.  Both were brought back to Fremont PD for questioning.  Warner was arrested for robbery, being a felon in possession o f a firearm, false imprisonment and a probation violation.  Malina was arrested for robbery and prostitution.

#028 Warrant Arrest
Officer Tucker stopped a bicyclist Miguel Salmeron (M49) at Business Center and Technology Drive.  Salmeron had three active warrants and was arrested.

#021 Robbery Arrests (related to #21 above)
Officer Butcher conducted an area check at the hotel on Farwell Dr., for the outstanding robbery suspects mentioned in the above robbery detail. He finds that the female suspect is now registered in a different room. Sgt Baca and Officer Butcher assemble a team of officers to contain the area, suspect vehicle, and the room. Malina Acosta (F26) and Rayshaud Warner (M29) were identified and arrested for the robbery. Officer Gigliotti came in to author a search warrant.

#005 Commercial Burglary
CSO Ernst investigated a burglary of an unlocked hotel room in the 5400 block of Mowry Ave. The reporting party stated an unknown person entered her unlocked hotel room during the early morning hours while she was sleeping and removed her purse.  Several purchases were made on multiple cred cards through the day by the suspect.  Officers are following up on video from the locations where the cards were used. 

#018 Possession of a Controlled Substance Arrest
Officers were sent to a restaurant on the 5500 block of Automall Pkwy to investigate a disturbance call.  The caller stated a female was inside causing a disturbance and had stripped off all of her clothing.  Based on the description, officers believe they may know who the female was and that she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.  When officers arrived they located the female, now fully clothed, near a neighboring business.   During a search, a small plastic bindle with a white crystalline substance, believed to be methamphetamine, was located.  Adrienna Certuche (F28) was arrested her warrant and for being in possession of a controlled substance.
