Homicidio: Detenido un sospechoso 
DATE/TIME: Saturday, July 23, 2016 at approximately 3:31 a.m.
LOCATION: Area of San Antonio Ave and Holt Ave.
CRIME: 187 P.C. Homicide
VICTIM #1: Deborah Gutierrez, 34 year-old Arizona resident (Deceased)
VICTIM #2: Demar Jacobs, 39 year-old Chino Hills resident (Treated and released)
VICTIM VEHICLE: 2003 Chevy Impala
SUSPECT: Robert Bogan, 23 year-old Pomona resident (In custody)
SUSPECT VEHICLE: 2000 Cadillac DTS
UNIT: Major Crimes Unit - Investigative Division
On July, 23, 2016, at approximately 3:31 am, patrol officers heard numerous gunshot in the area of Holt Ave and San Antonio. Soon after, two vehicles involved were located and stopped several blocks from each other. Officers found two gunshot victims in one car. Victim Jacobs suffered a non-life threatening superficial gunshot wound and was treated at the scene and released. Victim Gutierrez suffered critical gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The occupant of the second vehicle was identified as Robert Bogan. He was taken into custody and he is believed to be the only suspect involved at this time. A handgun believed to have been used to commit this crime has been recovered.
Homicide investigators are currently interviewing potential witnesses and reviewing evidence.
