At approximately 7:30 p.m. Fremont dispatchers received a call of a female matching the description of our missing person. Officers responded to the area of Mayfair Park and confirmed it was Yutao Huang. We are in the process of reuniting her with her family. We'd like to thank everyone in our community, our police volunteers and the media for helping us this evening.

Today at 2:06 p.m., Fremont patrol officers responded to a report of a missing 87 year old female at Durham Elementary School. Yutao Huang is an 87 year old female and only speaks Mandarin. She is in good health, but not familiar with the area. She had gone with family to Durham Elementary (40292 Leslie Street) at pick up time and got out of the vehicle. When her family returned to the vehicle, she was gone. It’s believed that she left the area on foot sometime around 1:20 p.m., and has not been seen since.
Police are currently searching the area and asking for the public’s assistance to help locate her. She is 87 year old Asian female, 5’ tall and approximately 95 lbs. She was last seen wearing a pink and grey floral designed silk collared short sleeve shirt and unknown description pants.
