At Risk Missing Person - Paw Yaung has been located and is in the process of being reunited with his family.

Today, shortly after 9:00 a.m., FPD dispatch was notified that Union City Police had located an unidentified man in their City and had taken him to a local hospital.  The man has been identified as Paw Yaung and he is in the process of being reunited with his family. 

We'd like to thank our community, partnering law enforcement agencies and the media for assisting us to help locate Mr. Yaung.

Earlier this morning at approximately 8:25 a.m., CSO Oliveira took a missing person report of an at-risk male adult who was last seen on Sunday evening at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Paw Yaung is a 60 year old Asian male, 5' 3", 120 lbs, and was last seen when he left his residence on foot, located on 4700 block of Phebe Ave (Ardenwood neighborhood), Sunday evening at approximately 5:30 p.m.  Yaung was wearing a white T-shirt with black or blue lettering, red sweats and blue rubber slippers.  Yaung has a scar above his left eyebrow and wears partial dentures.

Yaung possess a bus pass and is known to get lost from time to time. Yaung frequents the City's of Hayward and Union City and is familiar with public transit systems, including BART.  

Yaung is in need of medication and considered to be at-risk.
