#007 Commercial Burglary
CSI Wilson investigated a commercial burglary in the 41400 block of Blacow Rd. Entry was made by breaking the glass to the front door. The unknown suspect(s) went behind the counter and took cigarettes.
#008 Assault with a Deadly Weapon
At 8:40 a.m., Officer Ehling investigated an assault with a deadly weapon in the 1000 block of Old Canyon Rd. A 35 year old adult male was found with puncture wound injury consistent with a stab wound. The male was uncooperative and said he was injured when he fell on a sidewalk the night before.
#011 Residential Burglary
At 9:58 a.m., Officer Ramsey investigated a residential burglary in the 500 block of Woodview Tr. A witness saw two males knock on the neighbor’s door, heard a heavy thud and saw the suspects walk out of the home with a TV. The suspects were described as follows:
Suspect #1 – White male adult, approximately 20 years old, approximately 5'10", thin build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and gray gloves.
Suspect # 2 – Black male adult, approximately 20 years old, approximately 5'10", medium build, wearing a blue baseball cap, blue jacket, blue jeans, and gray gloves.
#013 Commercial Burglary Attempt
CSO Oliveira investigated an attempted commercial burglary in the 34200 block of Fremont Blvd. The suspect tried to pry open the front and side doors.
#018 Indecent Exposure
The owner of the Chevron station on Grimmer Blvd reported an indecent exposure that occurred on 01/23/16 at 6:50 p.m. A Black male adult in his 20's with a beard, approximately 6'00", 200 lbs., wearing a black hoodie, white t-shirt, black basketball shorts with a red stripe, and black sneakers, exposed himself to the clerk. Officer Liu is investigating.
#024 Residential Burglary
At 2:40 p.m., officers responded to a residential burglary that occurred in the 3200 block of Bruce Drive. Based on video surveillance the suspect was inside the residence from approximately 11:42 – 11:49 a.m. The suspect is described as a male, possibly Hispanic or Asian Indian, approximately 25-30 years of age, 5'10" - 6'01", 180 to 200 lbs., with short black hair (faded), possibly brown eyes, and a long full beard. The suspect had an illegible tattoo on the right side of his neck. The suspect was last seen wearing a long sleeve black t-shirt, black pants and black shoes. The suspect was wearing gloves, one that appeared black and the other was either red or orange.
#033 Drug Paraphernalia
While patrolling in the area of Bay St and Chapel, Officer J. Kennedy stopped two bicyclists. One of the men, a 23 year old adult male, Hayward resident was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was cite released at the scene.
#001 Unlicensed driver
Officer Oliveira conducted a traffic stop in the area of Paseo Padre Pkwy and Grimmer Blvd. The 53 year old adult female driver was cited for being an unlicensed.
