Incidents 422 Reports 49

 

#021 Search Warrant Arrest

Officer S. Nordseth investigated a package theft. Through his investigation, the stolen item was located for sale on eBay. He obtained a search warrant for the residence of the eBay seller which turned out to be a neighbor of the victim. The search warrant was served in the 3000 block of Stevenson Blvd and the stolen item (a camera lens) was recovered. A 19 year old adult male, Fremont resident, was arrested without incident.

#007, 09, 14, 15 & 18 Commercial Burglaries

CSO’s Ernst and Anders took multiple commercial burglary reports at the HUB Shopping Center.  The incidents were similar to those committed by the burglars arrested by midnight officers at the Las Palmas shopping center in the early morning hours.  Detectives are following up and investigating.

#033 Residential Burglary

Officers responded to investigate a residential burglary at 4:24 p.m., on the 1000 block of Bedford St. The resident came home to find the back door of the house forced open. Loss reported was jewelry. Case investigated by Officer B. Loughery

#001 Stolen Vehicle Investigation

While on his way to the DUI check point, Officer Aranguren spotted a dark Dodge Caravan departing the area of the Fremont/Beacon with its lights off. Officer Aranguren followed the vehicle onto Mowry Ave and was eventually able to make a traffic stop in a parking lot on Mowry Ave near Hastings. As Officer Aranguren approached the vehicle, dispatch advised that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Fremont. Officer Aranguren attempted to keep the three occupants of the vehicle at the scene until additional officers could arrive, but a female exited the vehicle and the driver quickly sped away. Officers flooded the area and assisted officer Aranguren with the female suspect and located the vehicle abandoned near the area of Lexington and Pennsylvania. An extensive search ensued with negative results. Officer Aranguren is following up on the investigation. 

#049 Possession of Paraphernalia and Trespassing

Officer Luevano was dispatched to a reported trespassing call on the 41000 block of Roberts Ave. A 41 year old adult male was contacted in the backyard of an abandoned residence. Based upon the male’s probation status, Officer Luevano conducted a search.  The male was in possession of a crank pipe. The 41 year old was arrested for the pipe and issued a trespass warning.

#004 Warrant Arrests

Officers Latimer and Kindorf took a team of officers to serve two Santa Clara County warrants at a house on the 39000 block of Blacow Rd.   Officer Latimer arrested a 56 year old adult male and a 25 year old adult female, for their fraud warrants.

#007 Trespassing

Officers responded to a known trespasser at the Archstone Apartments on Civic Center. Officer Contrada arrested a 33 year old adult male of Oakland for trespassing.

#011 Theft Arrest

Officer Scherer responded to an auto burglary and arrested a 42 year old adult female for theft and for a probation violation.

#022 Residential Burglary

At 5:42 p.m. officers investigated a residential burglary where the back sliding door was smashed by unknown suspect(s) to gain entry into a residence on the 200 block of Tonopah Dr.

#026 Residential Burglary

At 8:56 p.m. officers investigated a residential burglary in the 100 block of Racoon Ct.

#002 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Officer Roberts conducted a traffic stop near the area of Duterberry and Thornton Ave at 10:59 p.m. During a search of the 30 year old adult male driver, a meth pipe was located.  The driver was arrested.

#006 Warrant Arrest

Officer Rodriguez conducted a pedestrian stop at Third Street Park in Niles and arrested a 30 year old adult male for a misdemeanor warrant.

#010 Stolen Property Arrest

At 8:13 a.m., Officer T. Roberts located a stolen Infiniti rolling on Thornton Ave at Cabrillo. The suspect gets onto I880 north at a high rate of speed before Officer Roberts could get cover or attempt a traffic stop. The suspect crashed the vehicle as it was exiting on Decoto Rd. Three occupants exit the vehicle and run then jump over the sound wall into the Cabrillo neighborhood. Sgt O’Connell sets up a quick perimeter and neighborhood witnesses provide information as to their location.  All three suspects are located and arrested in a backyard. Officer Roberts arrested a 20 year old adult male, a 49 year old adult male and a 20 year old adult female for receiving stolen property and resisting arrest.

#032 Warrant Arrest

At 4:03 p.m., Officer Robinson arrested a 35 year old adult male on Starlite Ct. for a warrant. 

#033 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest

Dispatch received a call of a disturbance on the 39100 block of State Street at approximately 4:10 p.m..  While conducting a security check in the area, Officer Gregory arrested an adult male for possessing drug paraphernalia.

#051 Possession of Methamphetamine

At 10:54 p.m., Officer Bordy contacted an adult male riding his bike through the parking lot of Dale Hardware. The male was on searchable probation. Officers searched the male and found suspected methamphetamine and two suspected meth pipes. The 43 year old adult male was arrested and transported to the Fremont Jail.

#003 Warrant Arrest

At 1:26 a.m., Officer Roberts contacted a pedestrian in the area of Mission and Mojave. The 61 year old adult male, Fremont resident was arrested for his no bail misdemeanor battery warrant.
