INCIDENT: TRAFFIC COLLISION

On July 17th, 2015 at about 5:20pm, Pomona Police Officers responded to the area of Mission Bl east of Phillips Dr regarding a report of a traffic collision. Responding officers found a single vehicle had gone over the embankment of Mission Bl and collided below with a home on Wright Ct. The male driver, Joseph Holbrook, 68 year old Montclair resident, was found in medical distress. He was rushed to a local hospital but passed away shortly after arrival. The collision is being investigated by the Pomona Police Department's Major Accident Investigation Team and the Los Angeles County Coroner's office.
