Warrant Arrest
FTO Candler and Officer Rose conducted a pedestrian stop at Slayton St/Mackintosh St. They contacted an adult female, Fremont resident, who had a warrant for hit-n-run. She was arrested and transported to jail without incident.
Warrant Arrest
Officer Montojo conducted a security check of Motel 6 north. He located and adult male who had a misdemeanor traffic warrant. He was arrested and released via citation.
#023 Outside Assist for Fremont Fire
Officers responded to a vehicle fire near Niles Bl. and Nursery. A small pickup truck was involved. FFD extinguished the fire and determined that it appeared to be suspicious in nature. Officer Foster responded to assist with evidence collection.
#001 Injury Collision
At approximately 11:40 p.m. officers responded to a single vehicle collision into a power pole at Cherry Ln and Spence Ave. The vehicle caught on fire and the female driver (only occupant) was able to safely get out of the vehicle. Downed power lines on top of the vehicle caused some problems for Fremont Fire, but the fire was contained with the help of PG & E. Several power outages occurred in the area for approximately one hour. The female driver was taken to a trauma center for non-life threatening injuries. Case investigated by Officer Macciola.
#027 and #002 Possession of Methamphetamine
At approximately 9:20 p.m., officers responded to Siward Drive to assist a family in locating a 19 year family member who called them and stated they needed help and to call 911. After receiving the call, the 19-year old could no longer be reached via the telephone. The 19 year-old whom was supposedly out with friends at dinner returned home with some associates at approximately 10:00 p.m. In the end one of the associates was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. The investigation tied up several officers for hours. Case investigated by officer T. Roberts.
