On today's date, officers responded to the 1500 block of Sheridan regarding a victim of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located a male adult victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. The victim was riding his bicycle when the suspect vehicle pulled along side him and fired. The victim was treated at the scene by LA County Fire and airlifted to an area hospital in critical condition. The victim arrived at the hospital and died as a result of his injury.
The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time. Pomona Police Department Detectives are actively working the case and have been since it occurred.
