Today, the Pomona Police Department honored its volunteers with a luncheon at the Pomona Valley Mining Company. Countless hours are donated by our dedicated volunteers to assist in making the Department and the community safer. The Police Department volunteer programs include: Explorers, Citizen Volunteer Patrol (CVP), Volunteers in Policing (VIP), Chaplains and Reserve Police Officers.
Special recognition was awarded to:
David Sevesind, Reserve Officer of the year;
Frank Delgado, CVP of the year;
Mercedes Lopez, VIP of the year
Allison Campos, Explorer of the year; and
Chaplain Bob Keller, Chaplain Red Wolins and Asst. Chaplain Jane Keller.
It was a sincere pleasure to honor all of the volunteers who are such an important part of the Pomona Police Department.
