Incidents: 249  Reports: 45

#011: Residential Burglary Attempt

At around 10:30 a.m., a White or Hispanic male adult knocked several times on the front door of a residence on Cornish Drive. When no one answered he, along with another male suspect, proceeded to the backyard of the residence.  The homeowner saw the suspect in their backyard and contacted the police.  When the suspect saw the victim, he took off on foot. 

#005: Commercial Burglary

Between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., an unknown subject burglarized Fremont Gas & Food located at on Grimmer Blvd.  Entry was made via a roof vent.  Loss is between $10,000-$15,000.  Case investigated by CSO Goralczyk.

#010: Commercial Burglary

Between the hours of 1:45 a.m. and 2:15 a.m., an unknown subject burglarized QXQ Ink located on S. Grimmer Blvd.  Several aluminum items were taken from a storage container.  Loss valued at approximately $126,000.  Case investigated by CSO Anders. 

#020: Possession of a Controlled Substance/ Drug Paraphernalia

Officers were dispatched to a suspicious circumstance where the reporting party, a 39 year old male, claimed he was the victim of a robbery in San Jose.  He stated he was at Cloverleaf Bowl and thought he saw the suspects.  When Officers arrived, the “Victim” stated he just wanted a ride to BART.  Officer ended up searching the male and arrested him for being in possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

#025: Petty Theft

Officer Ramsey arrested a 26 year old male for petty theft (Red Bull cans and baby formula) from Safeway at The Hub.  The male was already on probation for burglary out of Placer County.

#031: Commercial Burglary

About two hours later, Officers were again dispatched to Safeway at The Hub.  This time, Officer Hollifield arrested a 57 year old female for burglary and a probation violation.

#032: Possession of a Controlled Substance

Officer Lobue was dispatched to Washington Hospital for a report of a female threatening staff.  Officers contacted a 49 year old female and arrested her for possession of a controlled substance and trespassing.

#035: Residential Burglary

Between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., a residential burglary occurred on Higgins Way.  The unknown suspect(s) pried a side garage door and gained entry into the residence.  No loss reported at this time. 

#041: Possession for Sales: Methamphetamine

Officer Hollifield initiated a traffic stop near the McDonalds on Grimmer Blvd and contacted a 20 year old female, a 28 year old male, and a well-known probationer, a 26 year old male.  The investigation resulted in the seizure of suspected methamphetamine, packaging, and a scale consistent with sales.   The female and one male were arrested for possession of a controlled substance. 

#003: Outside Assist

After receiving a mutual aid request from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office, Lieutenant Epps led a team of officers to Oakland to assist with the protests associated with the Ferguson case.
