Location: 1800 block of South Reservoir Street, Pomona
Victim: Male, 17 year old, Pomona resident.
Suspect: Dennis Frazier, 22 year old, Pomona resident.

On 11/12/2014 at approximately 2:15am, Pomona Police Department received shots fired calls in the 1800 block of South Reservoir Street. Responding officers located a victim of a shooting at the location. Medical aid was rendered and the victim was eventually flown to USC Medical Center in critical condition.

Pomona Police Gang Detectives were assigned to investigate this shooting almost immediately. Through their investigation and leads, they were able to positively identify the suspect as Dennis Frazier.
Suspect Frazier was eventually taken into custody on 11/14/2014 without incident by the Pomona Police Gang Detectives and the Pomona Police Gang Violence Suppression Unit. A search warrant was served on his residence related to the original shooting. The motive for the shooting appears to be personal as the suspect and victim knew each other prior to the shooting. The suspect saw the victim walking, waited to confront him, and eventually shot him numerous times at the location.

The 17 year old victim is in stable condition as of today.
The LA County District Attorney's office filed 664/187 PC (Attempt Murder) charges today against Suspect Frazier.
