On Thursday, October 23rd at 6:00am the western entrance to the North Kansas City Hospital off of E 26th Ave. will close for approximately three weeks as a new road/entrance is being completed. All traffic entering and exiting the North Kansas City Hospital will be required to use the Walker Rd. entrance.

We anticipate significant congestion on Walker Rd. during peak hours. We will be placing temporary traffic control devices and will be monitoring this area to avoid intersection blocking and keep access to the hospital open at all times.

If you rely on Walker Rd. as your primary route of transportation to anywhere other than the hospital we strongly encourage you to find an alternate route for the next three weeks.
