The gas has been shut off in the area of the leak. Southbound Warm Springs Blvd is now open. Northbound Warm Springs Blvd. between Mission Blvd. and Fulton Pl. will remain closed while crews continue to work on the pipe. Traffic is still heavy in the area of Mission Blvd. and Warm Springs Blvd., so we advise that you avoid the area if at all possible. We do not have an estimate on when northbound Warm Springs will reopen.

At approximately 11:25 a.m., construction crews in the area of Warm Springs Blvd. and Mission Ct., hit a gas line in the middle of the roadway. PG&E responded immediately and is on-scene working to fix the broken line.
Warm Springs Blvd is closed between Fulton Place and Mission Blvd. Traffic is reportedly backing up onto I880 and Warm Springs Blvd. south of the incident. Please avoid the I880 Mission Blvd. exit and Warm Springs Blvd. south of Mission until further notice. We do not have an estimate on when the leak will be fixed.
As a precautionary measure, some businesses have been evacuated and other businesses/residences in the area have been contacted and asked to shelter in place. We will provide an update when it becomes available.
