Full Notification

As a result of a burglary attempt that occurred on Yorkshire Drive last evening just after 10:00 p.m., police are asking residents to be on the alert for suspicious activity. The involved resident reported she was sleeping in a first floor bedroom when she heard someone tampering with one of the windows. She then observed a flashlight beam and called out asking who was there, at which time the unknown subject ran in an unknown direction. Police responded and discovered the subject had forced open the screen and opened the window before running when the resident called out. Police conducted an area search with negative results.
