Vehicle Abatement Operation
C.S.O Zamora organized a major vehicle abatement operation at a residence on Cedarwood Drive.  The Fremont Traffic Unit, Code Enforcement and several local tow companies assisted by removing multiple rusting/deteriorating vehicles and vehicle parts from the property.  The operation took approximately five hours to complete.  
  
#017 Drug Arrest 
Officer Ramsey and FTO Sasser responded to a disturbance between two men arguing over a bicycle.  One man accused the other of stealing his bike.  Upon arrival the officers contacted one of the men.  The man exhibited symptoms of being under the influence of illegal drugs.  Drug paraphernalia and burglary tools were located on his person.  The adult male was arrested and booked into FPD jail.  Officers were also able to conclude that he was the suspect in the bike stealing incident, however the victim desired no prosecution.  The bike was returned to the owner.  
 
#028 Auto Burglaries
The auto burglars hit again, this time at the American Swim Academy on Automall Pkwy. Numerous vehicles were burglarized via broken windows.  Investigated by Officer Gonzalez.
 
#029 Armed Robbery
A victim arranged to meet a person he met on Craigslist to make a purchase.  When the victim arrived at a location on Lake Michigan St, the suspect produced a gun and attempted to rob the victim of his wallet and phone.  The victim fought back at which point the suspect fled in a silver vehicle.   The suspect was described as an Asian male in his 20’s, no further.  Investigated by Officer Hernandez and FTO Ehling.

#009 Warrant and Suspended License Arrest
Officer Dias made a traffic stop on Industrial at S.Grimmer Blvd.  Officer Dias arrested the driver, a 64 year old, for an outstanding warrant.  Officer Dias also cited the driver for driving on a suspended license and towed his vehicle for 30 days.
 
#083 Outside Assist
Officers responded to the Fremont Jail sally port to assist Newark PD with placing a combative prisoner into the WRAP device.
 
Drunk in Public
Officer Hernandez and FTO Ehling contacted an adult male at the train station in Centerville and arrested him for being drunk in public.
 
Possession of Drugs
Officer Samayoa conducted a pedestrian stop on a 35 year old adult male, Fremont resident and arrested him for possession of drugs. 
 
Warrant Arrest
Officer Chahouati arrested a 27 year old adult female for her DUI warrant.
 
Theft with a Prior/Probation Violation
Officer Soper responded to Safeway 5-Corners in Irvington for an person in custody for theft.  A 47 year old adult female was booked for theft with a prior and a probation violation.
 
Drunk Driving Arrest
An off duty deputy from a local agency called to report an erratic driver in the area of Mission and Warm Springs.  While the deputy followed the driver, the driver suddenly left the roadway near the Taco Bell on Mission Blvd and drove through the bushes into the parking lot.  The deputy exited his vehicle along with several other citizens and detained the driver.  The driver, a 31 year old adult male, was extremely intoxicated and arrested for drunk driving.  Investigated by Officer Gentry and FTO Settle.
 
#042 Unlicensed Driver Arrest
Officer Hanrahan stopped a carload of people near Automall and Grimmer Blvd and arrested a 22 year old adult male for driving without a license.  
 
#002 Battery
Officers responded to a residential unit at the Northgate Savoy Apartments when a mother called to report her two drunken adult sons were in a fist fight. The call escalated when dispatch overheard the mention of a knife being involved. In the end, the brothers denied brandishing a knife and neither wanted to press charges. Investigated by Officer Dooley.
 
#003 Battery
Another fight broke out between four drunken relatives at a residence on Roberts Ave.  No charges were desired by the involved parties.  Investigated by Officer Soper.

#P14031368 Ascertain the Problem Call
Officers responded to a disturbance call on Great Salt Lake.  Dispatchers could hear screaming in the background and were told that nine subjects, including one armed with a knife, were involved.  Multiple units responded to this call which ultimately turned out to be a verbal argument with very uncooperative subjects. 
 
#027 Under the Influence Arrest
Officer T. Bobbitt conducted a pedestrian stop on Driscoll Rd at Beatrice St.  A 35 year old adult male was arrested for being under the influence do a controlled substance.  
 
Outside Assist for Traffic Control
Officers assisted Fremont Fire by providing traffic control as they worked a house fire on Via San Carlos.  Officers were on scene for approximately two and a half hours.
 
#032 Stolen Vehicle
A 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen on Cherry Ln.
 
#001 Drug Influence Arrest
Officer Gentry and FTO Settle stopped a 30 year old adult male who was walking near Cushing Pkwy/Fremont Blvd.  The male was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
 
#002 DUI Arrest 
Officer Macciola stopped a vehicle near Fremont/Decoto and arrested a 44 year old adult male for driving under the influence.
 
#003 DUI Crash
Officers responded to a minor solo vehicle collision near Mission/Nursery and found that the driver, a 41 year old adult female, was intoxicated. She was arrested for DUI.  Investigated by Officer Kindorf.
 
#005 & #006 Commercial Burglary
At 3:04 a.m., a security guard called to report a window smash break-in at a commercial complex located on the 39000 block of Paseo Padre Pkwy. Officers responded and were able to see that the suspect was still inside on the second floor. Multiple officers responded and were needed for the containment and perimeter.  The suspect, a  54 year old adult male, initially refused to come out of a locked office but eventually complied with orders to surrender. Officers found that the suspect had cut through a sheet rock wall and burglarized two businesses. The case was investigated by Officer Chahouati and supervised by Sgt. Cochran. Detectives later responded to help with the follow-up.  Thanks to Fremont Fire for supplying a ladder truck to assist with clearing the roof top. Service reductions were implemented during this incident.
