There will be cell phone check points in support of County's April "Put it Down" initiative.. 
Somerset County Prosecutor's Office has declared April as "Put It Down" month, to combat cell phone use while driving. In support of this initiative, The Watchung Police will be conducting random check points looking for cell phone use violators. As the County's press release states, "Purely and Simply, distracted driving kills. Safe driving starts with you."
