Officer Haugh arrested Craig Wilson, a 37-year-old male, for burglary, possession of burglary tools, and resisting arrest.

Four commercial burglaries were reported during the shift. In all four incidents, the unknown suspect(s) pried open a door in order to gain entry into the business.

Officers responded to Target, 39201 Fremont Blvd., on a report of an in-progress commercial burglary after store security observed a male attempting to break into an iPod display case. When officers arrived, they attempted to contact the male; however, he refused to stop and ran throughout the store. Officers Lambert and Malcomson caught the male inside the store and he was subsequently arrested. The suspect was arrested for burglary, possession of burglary tools, and resisting arrest. Case investigated by Officer Haugh.

Officers respond to Fremont and Peralta on a report of two males fighting there. Once officers arrive, they discover both male suspects are car parts distributors and they are fighting over “territorial rights”. One male had his ear lobe torn off during the fight, and the other sustained a large gash to the forehead from being hit with a wrench. He also is bruised on the leg from having an impact wrench thrown at him. One male goes to the hospital for his missing ear lobe. The whole incident will be forwarded to the DA for review.

A 20001 (Felony Hit and Run) occurred at Fremont and Grimmer (north) after a 16 year old male pedestrian entered the crosswalk and was struck by an older black Honda Civic. The driver of the Civic stopped and checked on the male, but then left the scene of the accident. There are minor injuries to the pedestrian and no further suspect information except that he is a Hispanic male.

Ofc Chahouati dispatched to an 11-54 (Suspicious Vehicle) call that was turned into two people going to jail for HS11550 (Drug Influence). Arrested were a 40 yr old female, and a 36 yr old male.

Another 459 Residential at the Durham Green Apts. Entry via forced front door, loss was Sony PS3, laptop, jewelry, etc.

Garage burglary via side garage door on Vega Tr, loss was a TV and tools. Investigated by Ofc. MacDonald.
