CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: Magoun Ave. from Chicago Ave to Columbus Ave. CLOSURE Beginning 5/27/25. 
Starting Tuesday, 5/27/25, a project to replace aging sewer and water lines in the intersection of Magoun Ave and Chicago Ave will begin. This project will consist of new sewers, water lines, and concrete walks, curbs, & asphalt restoration. This portion of the project should be completed by the end of August.
A complete closure of the intersection will be needed to complete this work. The construction crews will work approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We will notify you prior to working on something in the street that could affect you, such as water service hookups.
This closure will also include Magoun Ave from Chicago Ave to Lewis Place.
