Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult. The incident was reported Friday, March 24, 2023, at approximately 7:05 p.m., on the 800 block of W. Avenue I in Lancaster.
Lancaster Station deputies responded to the location regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call for service. Upon deputies arrival, they discovered a male adult suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the torso.
Paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
