Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male Black adult in the city of Huntington Park.
Huntington Park PD Officers responded to the 6300 block of Seville Avenue regarding multiple calls of gunshots heard in the area. Upon arrival, the officers found the victim on the street, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper torso.
LA County Fire Department personnel responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased.
Investigators learned that prior to the shooting, there was a physical altercation between the suspect and the victim.
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle information.
No weapon was recovered at the scene.
