Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Robbery Unit arrested a 17-year-old male and 15-year-old male on Friday, November 11, 2022, for their role in a series of armed robberies.
On Thursday, November 10, 2022, IMPD robbery detectives began investigating a series of armed robberies of food delivery drivers on the eastside of Indianapolis. As the investigation continued detectives were able to identify two juveniles as suspects.
Thanks to the hard work of several investigative units, the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team and IMPD East District officers, both juveniles were located and arrested without further incident for armed robbery.
The suspects are believed to be involved in the following robberies:
IP220111146- Armed Robbery
IP220111427- Armed Robbery
IP229001763- Theft from a motor vehicle.
The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case and make the final charging decision. These investigations are still ongoing.
