Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to assist Hawthorne Police Department with a shooting investigation. The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at approximately 9:09 a.m. on 11600 block of Van Ness Avenue, in the city of Hawthorne.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
