*2nd UPD*#LASD Homicide Bureau Responded to a Stabbing Investigation, 100 block of S, Townsend Avenue, #ELA

Arrest made. 
 
Sergio Viilalobos-Jimenez was identified as the suspect in the September 30, 2022, murder of his girlfriend, 45 year old Milagros Medina in Los Angeles. 
 
Deputies from Temple Sheriff’s Station arrested Villalobos-Jimenez in South El Monte Sunday at approximately 4:45 PM. Deputies responded to the 1900 block of Rosemead Boulevard after receiving a tip stating he had been seen walking in the area.  

He surrendered without incident. He is due for arraignment tomorrow at the Criminal Courts Building.

1st UPDATE

Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into -the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a 45 year old Hispanic woman in Unincorporated Los Angeles. 
 
Deputies from East Los Angeles Station responded to a residence in the 100 block of South Townsend Avenue at 7:55 PM last night regarding a call of an assault with a deadly weapon that had just occurred. Upon arriving they discovered the female victim suffering from apparent stab wounds. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. 
 
Investigators learned a Hispanic male suspect, believed to be the boyfriend of the victim, stabbed the victim repeatedly before running away northbound on Townsend Avenue and out of sight. 
 
The murder weapon and suspect remain outstanding. 
 
There is no further information being released at this time.

NARRATIVE:  
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are responding to a stabbing investigation. The incident was reported Friday, September 30, 2022, at approximately 7:55 p.m., on the 100 block of S. Townsend avenue, Los Angeles.


The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
