Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a 45 year old Hispanic woman in Unincorporated Los Angeles.
Deputies from East Los Angeles Station responded to a residence in the 100 block of South Townsend Avenue at 7:55 PM last night regarding a call of an assault with a deadly weapon that had just occurred. Upon arriving they discovered the female victim suffering from apparent stab wounds. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Investigators learned a Hispanic male suspect, believed to be the boyfriend of the victim, stabbed the victim repeatedly before running away northbound on Townsend Avenue and out of sight.
The murder weapon and suspect remain outstanding.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
