Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a female adult.
Deputies from Lancaster Sheriff’s Station responded to the 45500 block of Barrymore Avenue in Lancaster regarding a burglary/home invasion call.
The incident occurred on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at approximately 12:05AM.
When deputies arrived, they found the victim, a Black female, 50-55 years of age, unresponsive and suffering from blunt head trauma. The victim was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
A male who was discovered in the house has been currently detained.
