Police Investigate Shooting 
Police are investigating a shooting that occurred outside the Kaiser campus, 2500 Merced Street, before noon.
The hospital is on "lockdown" in certain portions only as a precaution and so police may collect evidence.
There is no threat to the area.
We will release further details as they become available.
We would also like to note this is not an active shooter situation, nor was it, as some are saying on social media. This is an isolated incident.
