Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a Hispanic man in his twenties in the City of Industry.
Deputies from Industry Sheriff’s Station responded to the railroad tracks south of Valley Boulevard near South Sentous Avenue regarding a medical rescue call.
Upon arriving, deputies discovered the victim lying unresponsive alongside the railroad tracks. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An initial investigation revealed the victim sustained apparent gunshot wounds.
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle description at this time. It is unknown if this shooting is gang related.
