Packerland Dr. Homicide victim's vehicle has been located and Caleb Anderson is in custody.

UPDATE

Mr. Anderson has been taken into custody in Alabama and the victim's vehicle has been located. Thanks to everyone who passed on the information to assist us with this part of the investigation.More inforamtion will be released as it becomes available. 


Advisory: Suspicious Death at 1320 Packerland Dr. is being investigated as a Homicide. Victim's vehicle is missing.

Dear Gary Richgels,

On 8-2-22 at 8:29 AM, the Green Bay Police Department responded to 1320 Packerland Dr for a report of a welfare check. Officers discovered a person deceased and notified the Detective Bureau. The investigation is being handled as a Homicide. 

Investigators contacted the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office, and the Forensics Unit was also called to process the scene. It was learned that the victim’s vehicle was missing from the scene, and this was entered as stolen with caution indicators, nationwide. The vehicle is described as a blue, 2013 Ford Fiesta with Wis registration 207HUH.  

The victim's vehicle was observed being operated in the Packerland Dr area shortly after the time we belive the death occured.  A person Investigators believe to be operating the victim's vehicle is Caleb Anderson. He is described as 5'11," 200 pounds from Iron County, Michigan.  Anderson was last known to be in the Greenville, Alabama area and Investigators are in contact with local officials that are actively looking for him and the vehicle. We are asking media outlets to share this with affiliates in that area. If anyone sees the vehicle or Mr. Anderson, please call 911. He should be considered armed and dangerous.   

This is still an active investigation and we are limited on how much information can be released at this time.
