Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a black man in his 50’s in Lancaster.
Lancaster Station deputies responded to a residence in the 44200 block of Beech Avenue regarding a gunshot victim call for service. Upon arriving, they discovered the victim lying unresponsive in the street suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle description at this time. The murder weapon remains outstanding.
This shooting is being investigated as gang related.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a black man in his 50’s in Lancaster.
Lancaster Station deputies responded to the location at approximately 10:40 P.M. regarding a person shot, call for service. Upon arriving they discovered the victim lying unresponsive in the street, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
LACo Fire personnel responded to the location and pronounced the victim as deceased on scene.
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle description at this time. The murder weapon remains outstanding.
This shooting is being investigated as gang related.
