INCIDENT: Barricaded Armed Suspect

UNIT: Special Enforcement Bureau
NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel are responding to assist Operation Safe Street and Century Station with a barricaded armed suspect. The incident was reported Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at approximately 5:15 p.m., on the 8600 block of Grape Street in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles.
SEB personnel will assume tactical command and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) is attempting to make contact with the suspect to bring this to a peaceful conclusion.
The surrounding homes have been evacuated for the safety of the residents.
