Village Residents,

After consulting with the National Weather Service, several Village Board Members, and our fireworks vendor, Village Staff has decided to cancel the evening events and fireworks show planned for July 4th, 2022. Weather models predict a high probability of heavy rain and thunderstorms during the same time as our scheduled event. The fireworks will be rescheduled for a later date (to be determined).

The morning and midday events (K5, parade, festival, softball game) will proceed as scheduled. There is a chance of showers forecast for later in the morning so please stay weather aware, and be ready for changing conditions. We will make every effort to safely hold as many events as possible.
