UPDATE
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Black adult.
Deputies from South LA responded to the 1000 block of West Imperial Highway in the city of Los Angeles regarding a gunshot victim call.
The incident occurred on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at approximately 5:20 p.m. hours.
When deputies arrived, they found the victim, a male Black adult, approximately 30 years old suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the local hospital.
Detectives have learned there are two male Black adult suspects who fled the scene on foot.
There is no further information available at this time.
