Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male juvenile in the city of Carson.
Deputies from Carson Station responded to the 200 block of W. 233rd Street, Carson regarding a gunshot victim call on July 1,2022, at approximately 11:00 P.M. Upon deputies arrival, they located a male Hispanic victim, approximately 15 years old, who sustained a gunshot wound to the upper torso. LA County Fire responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
Based on preliminary information, it appears the incident is possibly gang related.
There is no suspect or additional information at this time.
