| Narrative: |
Suspect arrested for attempted murder after stabbing the victim multiple times.
On 06/30/22, at 1:13 a.m., deputies responded to the wash area located between the northbound 101 freeway and W. Hillcrest Dr, east of Rancho Conejo Blvd, regarding a stabbing victim. When deputies arrived on scene, they located the victim, who was suffering from multiple stab wounds. Emergency medical aid was provided to the victim and he was transported to a local hospital for further treatment. During the subsequent investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Jose Manuel Rosa-Aldana. At approximately 3:18 a.m., patrol deputies located Rosa-Aldana in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Dr. and he was taken into custody.
Rosa-Aldana was booked into the Pre-Trial Detention Facility for violation of 664/187 PC – Attempt Murder. His bail was set at $540,000 and his court date was set for 07/05/22, at 1:30 p.m., in Ventura County Superior Courtroom 13.
