OPD Needs Help Identifying a Vehicle in a Fatal Hit and Run
The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is releasing this video in hopes the community can help identify an individual wanted in connection with a fatal hit and run. The incident occurred on June 16, 2022, just before 8:30 pm, at the intersection of 14th Street and Jefferson Street.
The video shows Dmitry Putilov attempting to cross the intersection with his two children when he was fatally struck by a Black 4-door Infinity traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle did not stop and went westbound towards Interstate 980.
The Oakland Police Department and CrimeStoppers of Oakland are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
