SUSPECT(S): Carlos Lopez, 45-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
Samantha Garcia, 32-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at approximately 7:35 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department served a search warrant near the 100 block of North K Street.
While at the residence, deputies contacted Carlos Lopez and Samantha Garcia. During the investigation, Garcia was found to be in violation of H&S 11364(A), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and
Lopez was found to be in violation of PC 29800(A)(1), Felon in Possession of a Firearm, PC 496(A), Possession of Stolen Property, and H&S 11377(A), Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Garcia was issued a citation at the scene and released from the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, with a future court date.
Lopez was arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Lopez remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a bail amount of $100,000, awaiting a court hearing.
