Incident Summary
 
On Tuesday, June 15th, at 6:40 PM, Petaluma PD officers were dispatched to residence in East Petaluma.  The resident was hosting a graduation party for their 17-year-old student.  During the party, a Go Pro camera was found discreetly hidden in a cat litter box in the bathroom.   The camera had been recording for approximately 30 minutes prior to it being discovered.  No one at the party admitted they owned the camera.  The camera was seized, and an investigation was initiated.  On Wednesday, June 15th, Petaluma PD Detectives conducted follow-up, and were able to observe Suspect Korrell recording himself as he placed the camera into the litter box.  Suspect Korrell, is the ex-husband of the owner of the residence and was attending the party.  Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Korrell. He was arrested Thursday morning in Corte Madera.  Detectives also obtained a search warrant and searched his residence in the Town of Ross.  Detectives seized potential electronic evidence that will have to processed and further examined.  Suspect Korrell was arrested for Peeping and transported to Marin County Jail.  His bail was set at $15,000.
